The story in One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest goes as the following: the nurses in the mental hospital govern the patients with severe means, cold instruments and ruthless hearts, trying to transform them into submissive and well-mannered machines of no personality until McMurphy, an unruly patient, comes into the hospital.
