“Tillie Walden is the future of comics, and On a Sunbeam is her best work yet. It’s a ‘space’ story unlike any you’ve ever read, with a rich, lived-in universe of complex characters.” ―Brian K. Vaughan, Saga and Paper Girls

Two timelines. Second chances. One love.

A ragtag crew travels to the deepest reaches of space, rebuilding beautiful, broken structures to piece the past together.

Two girls meet in boarding school and fall deeply in love―only to learn the pain of loss.

With interwoven timelines and stunning art, award-winning graphic novelist Tillie Walden creates an inventive world, breathtaking romance, and an epic quest for love.

This was beautiful. The style of drawing is amazing and very fitting to the story, the use of colour schemes for different timelines is a brilliant idea. And it has living spaceships, ghost foxes, and space ruins!

This book was one of those story's that I wanted to keep after reading. The characters were so lovely and relatable that I wanted to be friends with them and fly through the universe with all of them.

3.5 stars the artwork and the message are beautiful, but the story was confusing and hard to understand for a majority of the book

Amazing art style and also really liked the story. The art style also reminded me of something very nostalgic. Can't say more than that because it is a weird/nonsensical science fiction book and I was just there for the ride without understanding most of it.
