The papers included in these proceedings of the Fourth In- ternational Conference on Nursing Use of Computers and In- formation Science held in Melbourne, Australia April 14-17, 1991 are a reflection on how nurses are managing information in every facet of health care, including health and nursing administration/management, nursing practice in hospital and community nursing, nursing and patient education, and nur- sing/informatics knowledge base and research.
