Should have listened to the reviews. I did not therefor I'm to blame. 1. He cheats on her a few days before the wedding and she catches him but doesn't tell him 2. She proceeds with the wedding and marriage but becomes cold and distant, believing her cheating husband is cheating on her all over the city (like who wouldn't think that) 3. She divorces him and flees to India 4. They find their way back in India when he comes looking for her and they finally talk 5. She tells him she knows he's a cheating POS. So what happens after that? A) he's upset and asks why she didn't tell him B) she feels like she has to apologize AND GROVEL BC SHE DIDN'T TELL HIM C) she kiIIs him for being a cheating POS You guessed right. A & B happened. I'm so baffled with this book and all the 4 & 5 star reviews. Many people complain the heroine is cold and unforgiving I mean yeah.... Her father abandoned her, neglected her. Of course she will grow distant towards him. And her fiancee cheated on her of course she's going to dislike him. The only thing you can blame her for is not talking to him but that doesn't make her the villain of the story. She has every right to be upset and she should have never apologized or felt like she wronged him. HE CHEATED. "All of this could have been avoided of she talked to him" HELL NO. IT COULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED IF HE DIDN'T CHEAT. All of this is HIS fault. He chose to CHEAT. He's the pathetic idiot and I don't care that he was loyal during their marriage. It doesn't count and his time feeling miserable because she was cold towards him was deserved like dude he glad she didn't pull a gone girl on you because that's what I would have done. He didn't even grovel and she had to do it. When I tell you I despise men most of the time I mean it. This was just bad Hero: ⭐ ⭐ Heroine: ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ Story: ⭐ ⭐ Romance: ⭐ ⭐ Drama: ⭐ ⭐ Overall: ⭐ ⭐
