OMG this book! I don't know where to begin! But it was fast-paced, epic and super addictive for sure! The world was super interesting and the characters seemed so vivid. My favourite characters were Phoenix and Mouse because they have both more meaning in their character than what they just seem to be on the outside. I also loved Phoenix' character development from the beginning of the book towards the end! I will definitely pick up the sequel, New World Ashes, and June 7th can't come fast enough!

New World Rising is rather different from most dystopian novels I read so far. I really like this approach.
