Eine ganz, ganz große Liebeserklärung an diese Triologie ♥️

In diesen Seiten versteckt sich eine der größten Liebesgeschichte die ich jemals gelesen habe. Unfassbar starke Protagonisten, Wendung über Wendung und so eine fantastische Story die mich mehr als nur einmal in Tränen zurückgelassen hat. ✨ Tisaanah ist eine unfassbar tapfere Protagonistin, die trotz einer harten Vergangenheit nach jedem Schicksalschlag wieder aufsteht und für ihren Glauben an eine bessere Welt weiterkämpft. - Bad Ass - pur!⚔️ Max ist hierzu die perfekt Ergänzung und die Liebesgeschichte der beiden unfassbar authentisch! ♥️ Für mich war es eine der wundervollsten, wenn nicht sogar die beste Fantasy Serie überhaupt! 🏆 Ganz, ganz große Leseempfehlung! Für mich war es eine der erste größeren „Bücher-Projekte“ die ich auch englisch gelesen habe und es hat sich wirklich jede einzelne Seite gelohnt! 📖

I'm so torn because I loved this series, but the first half of this book, sadly, had me annoyed most of the time. Did love the ending though

I wanted to love this book so much but... it left me frustrated throughout at least the first half of the book, so I can't give it more than 3.5 stars, even though my heart wants it to be at least 4. I did enjoy the last 40% of this book very much, it felt more like the first and second book. But the plot in the first half left me frustrated, and not in a good way. I had to fight my way through the first 250 pages because it just felt slow. Then, the conflict between the two sides made me shake my head constantly and I was annoyed. I mean, frustration with the plot doesn't always need to be bad, but the annoyance I felt was .. not good. I did like how this book resolved though, the last 200p. made up for a lot that the first ~300 did wrong (in my opinion) but in the end, I was just glad to have finished the it. Maybe I had too many expectations for this one because of the masterpiece that Children of Fallen Gods was.

Fand die Reihe wurde von Buch zu Buch leider etwas schwächer. Die Welt in der die Geschichte spielt gefällt mir sehr gut, wie sich Sachen entwickelt haben war auch gut abgerundet. Aber alles in allem war dieses Buch einfach viel zu lang. Es hat sehr stark begonnen und ich war total hooked aber mit der Zeit wurde es einfach total langatmig und man hätte Dinge kürzen können. Ich bin froh dass ich es endlich fertig habe, aber trotzdem eine schöne Buchreihe zum lesen :-)

Fantastisches, episches Ende mit großen Schlachten!

Ich habe wirklich seeeehr lange gebraucht um dieses Buch zu lesen. Nicht weil es so lang war, sondern weil ich mich nicht verabschieden wollte. Ich wollte nicht, dass es zu ende ist und werde Tisaanah, Max, Caduan, Aefe (und vielleicht sogar Nura) sehr vermissen.

Ein sehr gutes Finale für die Reihe ♥️

After the second book I was unsure if I should continue as it felt a bit slow, but I did continue and I do not regret it. This entire series is incredible and the characters complex and imperfect but wonderful to accompany. The ending was exactly what I hoped for despite the pain of getting there.

This was by far the best book of the series, but all in all I struggled finishing at all books. I am not sure why I didn't like it, since it has all the things I usually like. Fae, magic, an epic love Story, lots of fighting.. However, it was boring at times, the magic system was not always clear and I did not really care about the characters. Also, the writing was quite slow and repetitive at times, especially in the first 2 books. Overall an ok series, but nothing to love.

I’m full on ugly crying and unsure, when I will regain the ability to write a coherent review. Or to function like a normal human being. This book broke me. Or rather this series did. It just got progressively better and better and by the point I started this final book: I was deeply obsessed. It’s just unbelievably good. How did Carissa Broadbent go under my radar for so damn long? I also think I cried as many tears reading Mother of Death and Dawn as I did over the last three month. Tisaanah and Max own a part of my heart and soul now. Together with all the other amazing side characters. The two weeks it took me to finish this book are purely caused by my unwillingness to let this world and its characters go. (also uni not giving me time to read. But that’s a secondary reason. If I want to, no one can hold me back). 5

Das letzte Buch der Trilogie ist ebenfalls sehr gut gewesen, für mich leider aber nicht so stark wie die anderen beiden Teile und ich kann es nicht ganz fest machen, woran es liegt. Es war eine richtig gute Reihe mit interessanten „Bösewichten“, mit denen man auch sympathisiert hat. Aber das Ende hat mich leider irgendwie nicht so sehr in den Bann gezogen. Daher 4,5/5. Eine Auswahl an Markierungen: „Death was like a lost lover. We circled each other. I craved more with every brush of its touch. All I wanted was for it to take me to its bed and never let me leave.“ „His heart is what truly lit the fire of war, and the fire burns because of you. The decision was for all of us, yes. But the vengeance? The vengeance was for you.“ „We all feel the same things, and we will still die trying to kill each other for it.“

5 Mega Ende zu dieser Trilogie. Wie auch die ersten beiden Teile hab ichs einfach geliebt. Alles daran ❤️‍🔥 Es war so spannend, traurig & einfach nur toll. Ich hab so schnell wie möglich lesen wollen, um zu wissen wie’s weitergeht, aber eigentlich wollt ich es nicht beenden & mich von Max & Tisaanah trennen 🥹✨
