Solides Romance-Buch für zwischendurch, allerdings hat mich auch einiges gestört (Lasst mich, bin pingelig). Zwischen Wyatt und Danielle gab es null Tension. Wyatt fühlt sich von Anfang an zu Dani hingezogen, was für mich gar keinen Sinn ergibt. Sie arbeiten in einer großen Firma, die auf mehreren Stockwerken verteilt ist (man kann sich also vorstellen, wie viele Leute dort arbeiten), Wyatt hält jeden auf Abstand und die beiden haben auch sonst in der Vergangenheit so gut wie gar nicht miteinander interagiert. Woher also diese Insta-Anziehung? Die Idee, dass Dani dieses Haus genau neben ihrem Ex bauen will, fand ich zugegebenermaßen anfangs ganz lustig, weil hat er halt verdient. Aber mit der Zeit und mit immer mehr Unsinn und Geld, das sie darin investiert hat, konnte ich nur noch die Augen verdrehen. Das war dann doch ein wenig zu viel. Der Umgang und die Leidenschaft zwischen Dani und Wyatt war schön, aber nichts, dass einen zum mitfühlen oder kichern bringen würde. Im Großen und Ganzen also recht unterhaltsam, aber mehr nicht. Das ist ein Buch, das man schnell wieder vergisst, glaube ich.
