mh :/ as you’re supposed to start out with the positives: • i liked 'Bridie' as a name for the protagonist and the fact that she’s a teacher • the setting was cute, loved the idea of a school field trip as a plot point too • the epilogue was nice however, in general the story has little to recommend it (i’m almost certain there are better 'retellings') and overall felt rather clumsy :( ↳ would i reread? …no
