Beschreibung

Every action has consequences.

I made one foolish mistake and ended up with a debt I had only one way to pay...by bowing my head and submitting to the men I swore I hated. But in their dominance I found catharsis. In the darkness we share, parts of myself were brought to the light.

I've been wearing a mask for far too long.

Now I'm torn between the future I thought I wanted, and a life I once believed was only fantasy.

These feelings between us were never just a game.

What am I willing to sacrifice? My pride and carefully laid plans, my determination that I can do it all alone? Or my new-found freedom to live without boundaries with the men who turned my world on its head? How much am I willing to give up?

Who am I willing to lose?

Although not required, it is recommended to read the novella, The Dare, prior to reading Losers.

This book is part 2 of a duet. It is First Person, Multi POV.

Losers is an 18+ polyamorous bisexual romance between one woman and four men, including MF, MM, and group scenes. Reader discretion is strongly advised, this is a dark read. This book contains graphic sexual scenes, intense scenes of BDSM, graphic violence, and strong language. A full content note can be found in the front matter of the book.

Found family at its best! Tropes: * kinky – bd$m elements * bully x bullied * found family * ‚It has always been you‘ * polyamorous relationship When I started with the Dare by Harley Laroux (I guess you can call this short novel the prequel of this duet), I haven‘t expected to love these books so much. I did not expect to fall for the characters as hard as I did. I can‘t even choose a favourite out of these 5 because they all have a special place in my heart. The story is most definitely character–driven – if you take away the characters these books would be nothing. The story lives through them, and caught my attention and my love because of them.I loved it! 5/5⭐️ 5/5🌶 very spicy and very kinky this one😏

3 ⭑ „because our home wasn't actually a house. it was each other.” the book was so much fun to read except for that one particular scene.

Es peor que el anterior y mejor ni hablo de lo que pienso de la portada

I liked it. The fmc was even more lovable in this one. It’s safe to say that she completely changed her whole personality lol but now she’s sweet, lovely and honest. She fits so well in that group even though I don’t understand why they’re sooo smitten with her. Well I get why they like her now but why did they even in Highschool? That’s like a plot hole haha it doesn’t make the slightest sense

[3.50/5.00] Well, here goes … this somewhat was disappointing? I really enjoyed the first part of the series, but I felt this installment was just unnecessarily long for no reason whatsoever. While I was able to ignore that in the first book, it just felt wrong here and I have to admit, not only my highlighting stopped around the 350 page mark, but my attention span and ability to care did, too. Don’t get me wrong, this book is not bad, it’s just not as enticing as I thought it would be? There is a whole lot of filler material, chapter after chapter not entirely focusing on the character relations developing as it did in the first book, but also not having enough plot at the same time? The main antagonists here were the same as in the previous book, but they rarely made an appearance up until the last third (with the exception of the mum, but I don’t really count her, as that was a rather meh-part of the plot from the start – or maybe I just couldn’t relate at all). Then it felt a bit rushed, like we somehow had to tie almost all antagonists together we completely forgot about before. This was in general a thing that icked me a little: When they had run ins with the dangerous people in the story, it never had a proper aftermath that went beyond a few pages of “you’re staying with us tonight” or “you got a new gymbuddy now”. It never felt substantial enough for me to truly care and thus, I just didn’t. I was so indifferent. Now this is not to say this is a horrible book, it certainly isn’t because I do enjoy the way the author writes and I still like the characters with all their edges and pointy ends, but I was just not really captivated by anything that happened here as I usually am with Harley Laroux’ books. I still think for no real underlying plotline other than the two antagonists 1000+ pages in two books is just … way too long. The one thing this author never fails to deliver is spice though and she did deliver here, too. I just probably won’t remember much about this second book in a few weeks already and that indeed is just a shame.
