Absolut empfehlenswert! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A very gripping story, with good but somewhat predictable plot twists.

3.5⭐ The beginning of the book was hard to get into. Especially tge short chapters were annoying. No chapter should be a page long in my opinion. I also didn't like that there were two time-lines. The storyline in the first part of the book was also unrealistic. The second part was alright and even had some good plot-twists. The characters were also more likeable. Well except for a few but well... *Spoiler* The whole kidnapping and binding someone in a poolhouse? I mean come on. Especially because Sawyer knows these people for how long and she already hepls them with kidnapping, assault and god knows what? And don't get me started with Campbell... I mean so many of her lines were awkward to say the least. I remember her saying something like: "Maybe I'm evil reincarnated...". Like girl just no. Towards the end the only thing I could appreciate about her, was her intelligence, but that was it. Otherwise I really do not like Sawyer mum. Sleeping with your sisters husband and keeping your daughter away from a wonderful and rich life (Of course J. D. is also an ass and so much more ... for sleeping with his sister-in-law who was a minor. But Ellie knew from the beginning what she was doing)? How much dou you want to f- up as a mother? And don't get me started on the whole pregnancy pact? wtf. Another thing I am very curious is about, is Nick Sawyer's love interest or Campbell's? I hope the author doesn't make a love traingle out of it. I'm really not sure if I'm going to pick up the second book. Maybe someday when my tbr isn't as long as it is now. So probably never...
i really liked the book. it had many twist ones that were easy to guess and some who weren’t. at the lasf 200 pages it got borinf but at the end you were back into it. if you know jennifer lynn barnes you could have guessed more twist because shes known for twist like that.4⭐️
