Es war gut. Ich fand die Story an sich sehr toll aber manchmal haben mich die italienischen Wörter zwischendurch bisschen rausgebracht , denn ich war mir nicht immer sicher ob das Wort italienisch oder englisch war. Außerdem hat es sich manchmal gezogen und ich bin zwischen durch bisschen eingeschlafen aber sonst war es gut.
Ich weiß nicht so recht, was ich bei dem Buch erwartet habe, aber mir hats erstaunlich gut gefallen. Ich brauchte was leichtes zwischendurch, nachdem meine letzten beiden Bücher mich eher frustriert haben, und das wurde mit kingdom of the wicked definitiv erfüllt. Einiges war vorherzusehen, was mich aber absolut nicht gestört hat; und eine Wendung habe ich tatsächlich nicht erwartet. Werde jetzt Band 2 und 3 bestellen und freu mich schon drauf :)

Die ersten Kapitel waren etwas langsam, aber einmal in der Geschichte drin konnte ich nicht aufhören zu lesen ❤️ Direkt weiter mit Band 2
3,5 ⭐ Das Buch wird ja ziemlich gehypt, vorallem im deutschen Bereich, weshalb ich wirklich gespannt war. Am Anfang war ich ein bisschen enttäuscht, da nicht wirklich viel passiert ist und die Story gar nicht in Fahrt gekommen ist. Ab der Hälfte des Buches, fing es dann so langsam an und ich hatte Spaß daran es zu lesen! Auch wenn ich zum Ende hin relativ verwirrt war, was denn gerade passiert, freue ich mich darauf den zweiten Teil zu lesen, in der Hoffnung etwas mehr Action zu bekommen und finally eine Lovestory!

I am ready for book two. ———————— The writing style is absolutely beautiful and the story had me hooked before I even reached chapter five. Given the murder mystery the story is supposed to give off a dark vibe, but Kerri Maniscalco’s writing still manages it to give off such a scenically calm, cosy and comfortable atmosphere, I don’t even know how to describe it…
Meine Erwartungen wurden bei weitem übertroffen. Die Welt hat mich absolut begeistert. Am Anfang war es etwas schwierig einzusteigen, unter anderem lag es aber auch daran, dass ich die Reihe auf Englisch lese, aber irgendwann wurde ich gepackt und es gab kein zurück mehr. Emilia ist eine super starke Protagonistin und ihre Entwicklung in dem Buch hat mir super gut gefallen. Ihre Beziehung zu Wrath fand ich super und generell hat mich der Dämonenprinz direkt in seinen Bann gezogen. Er hat eine meiner Schwachstellen getroffen. Echt Mega gutes Buch

Zu Beginn des Buches wusste ich noch nicht genau was ich zu erwarten habe und bin neutral, ohne wirkliche Gedanken dazu ins Buch eingestiegen. Ich wusste schon, dass ich alles rund um Hexen und Zauberei toll finde, aber the kingdom of the wicked zu lesen hat mir absolut viel Freude bereitet. Es war von Beginn an spannend und ich habe die Plots auch nicht vorhergesehen. Über das gesamte Buch habe ich mit Emilia mitgefiebert und versucht herauszufinden wer für den Tod ihrer Schwester verantwortlich war und warum sie ermordet wurde. Ich bin froh schon alle Teile zu besitzen und bin freue mich auf die nächsten Teile

I enjoyed reading the story of Emilia and her sister. The story line is well-done and I am happy to have the second book just next to me.
Being honest I really didn't expect much from this book but what I got... wow! I really thought this was some kind of romance and spice book. I usually don't read these so I was glad that it was actually not (much) of that. This book was truly a pleasant suprise and I can't wait to read the 2nd book!
I'm officially a fan of Kerri Maniscalco. This book truly swept me off my feet and I devoured it so fast. I am a slow reader and this book took me out of my long reading slump.
𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗹𝗼𝘁 📝 Basically this book tells the story of Emilia wanting to avenge her twin sisters murder. She's slowly unraveling the secrets her sister kept and you get to know the Princes of Hell within the book. The embodiments of the Seven Sins. The book however does not introduce them all, only the ones important to the plot. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 👥 Emilia and the Prince of Wrath are the main focus of this book. It's primarily told in Emilia's POV so she's the main protagonist. 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝘆𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗰𝘀 💭 The chemistry and emotions are big in this one. I felt every emotion Emilia felt and you connected differently to each character. My favorite dynamic was of Emilia and her Nonna/ her family as a whole. Knowing that the love within her family was based on the author's family truly made this more amazing. You could feel the love within these pages. 𝗪𝗵𝘆 5 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘀? ⭐ This book is close to my heart. I truly loved every chapter and it hooked me from the start. This book felt special and the story was touching. I loved the plot lines and the dynamics between the characters. I read the last 60% of the book so fast and was sad when I had to put it down. I did sometimes feel like there were plotholes but they truly didn't matter to me. I loved the book and can only recommend it to everyone who loves Fantasy, a good laugh and a good cry.
