I get it. It hurts but I get it.

I loved the atmosphere of the book. The characters and the conversations they had. I laughed and at some point I did cried a few tears because it was too sad not to. The whole book felt too comfy if you consider what it's about. But I loved it while reading. I'm kinda sad, how the end turned out but I can't be mad because I understand why it has to be like that. Why it has to end the way it did. I get the message it's trying to teach us and I appreciate it a lot.

You all, take notes from Ms. Yoon... This is how you end a book. You wrap up everything just right with no loose ends, you give us hope, you do not deter from the truth, you give us the whole and yet break our hearts. Also, I had forgotten to live in the present. This book reminded me of the same.

Schade. Hatte es bei TikTok gesehen und es wurde empfohlen, vor allem weil das Ende wohl traurig sein sollte. Ich mochte die Hauptperson leider gar nicht. Die Charaktere waren alle sehr flach und die Story war sehr schnell. An sich gar nicht schlecht, manchmal mag ich das, so fixe Sachen zu lesen. Aber hier war irgendwie alles underdeveloped. Und so traurig fand ich das Ende nicht, da ich schon einige Kapitel vorher wusste, was am Ende passiert. War also kein krasser Twist. Außerdem ist es anscheinend ok wenn man jemanden betrügt und dann die neue Frau heiratet und auch noch will, dass die Töchter zur Hochzeit kommen lol. Fand ich dezent strange. Und die Love Story war auch bissl zu Klischee und Insta. Und sorry, aber mit 18 kann man einfach noch nicht sagen, dass das die Liebe des Lebens ist. Die große Liebe bisher, ja ok, aber nicht des Lebens.

I was really excited to read this book because of the positive and emotional recommendations. I couldn't build a connection to Evie, nor could I understand her actions throughout the whole book. She doesn't believe other relationships will last because of the actions of her father (he cheated and wants to marry his affair...). But she immediately falls in love with X, her dance partner, who only has a characteristic of his look? Also, I didn't like that she could see the future of relationships. I mean, she doesn't believe in them anyway, why manifesting it with visions? And a major NO GO for me was the whole situation of ignoring the fathers cheating! Nobody had a problem with his cheating except Evie.

This book is absolutely beautiful. It's a super quick and easy read. And heartbreaking. Loved the banter between the love interests.

first of all how does this book have an average rating of 4 STARS?!?!??? this masterpiece definitely deserves more then 5 stars. i loved it so much honestly i was never really the type of person to read romance books i don’t know why maybe because some scenes are really cheesy? i don’t know BUT THISSSSSS???? AMAZING!!!! the storyline was fantastic and the character development of Evie was so good and relatable. As a reader one can understand Evie’s position with love and her getting those visions obviously makes her position worse. But throughout the book she learns the good things about love and about “living in the moment” and i think that’s what many people nowadays need to learn too. it’s better to live in the moment then being scared of what can happen in the future. Anyways not only is this book about being scared of love while finding out how being in love feels like BUTTTTTT it also has an amazing and unpredicted plot twist!!! Not many books have destroyed me like this… Overall this book was amazing and well written. I fell in love with Nicola’s book that i’m already looking forward to reading her other books!! Well done!!

No but why am I crying? This book had absolutely no right to be so heartbreaking. I loved it but it was also so freaking sad

Not what I expected. 4.5 stars. Have I ever mentioned how much I love Nicola Yoon? If not, here you go: I love her & her writing. It tears you apart and puts you back together and leaves you with a different mindset and many emotion.

Haven’t cried this much about a book for a long time. So beautifully written, definitely loved every single sentence, and especially the last chapter.
