News of their recent success brings in a widow who is convinced her late husband did not die in an accident but was murdered. This case triggers several cases of the past 26 years to surface again. I had to pause the second book in the series cause I thought I was reading the second story of a different series and couldn't understand the dynamics of the MCs. 🤦🏼♀️ Good book, good convoluted mess, but slightly too much for me in the end. I loved the dynamics of the MCs relationship, and the first step into hopefully reconnecting to Gary's broken parents. Great cliffhanger, and well established within the book. Looking forward to part 3.
