I've seen it all... A boy who planned to be the next school shooter. A patient with OCD whose loved ones really did suffer every time he missed a ritual. A choir boy who claimed he was being molested -- not by a priest -- but by God Himself. A patient with PTSD who gave me nightmares. A husband and wife who accused each other of abuse, and only one of them was telling the truth.
And how could I ever forget, Patient #220.
The problem is, my patients have a habit of dying. Sometimes I wonder if I'm the common denominator. Or maybe that's just the cost of taking on exceptionally broken clients.
Either way, I'll never stop trying to help.

I started it in the evening and then decided it would mess with my dreams if I continue reading. So scheduled it to the morning and have already finished (its 9am). It's not a bad book like most of the reviews say. I like how to structure is made up from starting with basics, to meeting Noah, to the final case, but i think the final case promised more than it actually gave. It was more like a overflow of events happening, over and over. Hard to follow thoughts lead to a surprising end. It definitely makes me feel want to read further book from doc harper. Would recommend for everyone who has some spare time, and wants to dig into therapy stuff as well as special personality and really special stories!
The title doesn’t really fit imo but great work
I started the book at around 11pm and finished it around 1am. I couldn’t stop reading. For some time I thought somebody was behind me BECAUSE IT GOT SO CREEPY. If you need a book that keeps you thinking for yourself read it. The end disappointed me a little bit but I also think it’s refreshing to read books that might not have a happy ending “for now” but i think there are more books so let’s see. I loved the fact that I was solving the cases by myself and I almost got the right half of the time. Sometime I got so mad because the MC did not think about my solutions but then I read more and realized “oh my solution was not really the best”. I’m still thinking that Noah is more than he is and that he might be still with the cult the whole time feeding them with information so they can get a right time to attack but this might be a crazy reach. Proof me wrong pls
