I did enjoy the story throughout the two books, but the writing has been bugging me a lot and severely dragged down my reading experience at times. I’ve read a lot of books lately which have been officially published and am now back on reading indie writing with this one and I am realising how vastly different the writing and author’s articulation is… Honestly speaking, I haven’t noticed this as strongly before and am a little surprised at how some sentences are constructed and how they were made sense of. Partially, it’s super weird to read. It feels like there was no or insufficient (final) proofreading, because there definitely are things which don’t make a lot of sense and would be better off phrased differently.
