Yesterday I finished "Hocus Pocus & The All New Sequel" and I loved it so much! The book is devided into two books: the original story from the first movie, and a sequel (I don't know yet if it's the same story as the new second movie, I have yet to watch it). Last year I read the first book and it was so entertaining and just exactly like the movie. It has the same vibes, characters and story and I've seen the movie a few times already, so I could just picture everything in my head while reading. This month I've read the sequel, which is at least twice the size of pages than the first book. We're 25 years later after Max, Allison and Dani saved Salem from the Sanderson Sisters. Due to an unwanted mistake, Poppy - the daughter of Allison and Max, summons the three Sandersons back to Salem and this time it's up to Poppy and her friends Travis and Isabelle to save the town and her family. The sequel was such a fun story as well. The Sanderson Sisters are exactly like they're supposed to be, but now they're dropped in our time. This gives some fun new shockers to the sisters, because what is the memory box they find and why can it speak? Poppy, Travis and Isabelle are loving characters and one of them holds a secret that gives a nice twist to this new story. It was enchanting with the same weirdness we know from the original story and it's also fun to see some old characters returning as well. It was an amazing October-read and I can't wait to watch both movies this week!
