Oh my god, this epilogue broke me 😭 This book felt like the big crescendo this series needed. And yes, with that I mean the WHOLE book. There was not a moment to breathe, not a second where there wasn’t happening something that just added up to the big solution. And did we get a solution! Every character that showed up throughout the series got their fair share of adding up to that solution. Every little character got its moment of glory and its part in the grande finale. I loved it. I loved how in the end, it all turned out the way it did and how this series got the ending it deserved. Throughout the book, I thought I couldn’t give this the 5-star-rating. Because that tiny little thing was missing. But then the epilogue happend and my heart was shattered into a million tiny little pieces. This was the tiny bit I was waiting for, the thing that made this a five star read. It was perfect. The POV was perfect. It was everything I‘ve wanted to show what was happening after everything had ended. And I WEPT. Because it was so perfect.
It was kinda entertaining, but felt too cliche in some aspects

Solides Finale
Leider hat die Spannung im Laufe der Bände stetig nachgelassen. Nichtsdestotrotz hat Gods & Monsters mir gut gefallen.
It was really...long

As feared, I wish the story ended with the second book. Just like before, the characters were running away and looking for allies. Some unnecessary drama was added. In the end, I was glad when I was done with the book.
I desperately hoped that me not liking the second book in this series was due to it being a classic "second book syndrome" installment. But here we are and I had to discover that the conclusion to this series is even worse than its prequel. Nothing made sense?? It was so confusing, and even though the series felt rather high-stakes to me (especially after the ending of book 2), somehow we end up with the lowest of low-stakes finales. What a disappointment.
