This is for all my criminal minds girlies 🤭 don’t walk but run to read this! Promise you gonna get a kick out of it.
4⭐️1.5🌶️ This is David Rossis backstory lol! I get the hype..cause this book really had it all. The plot was just plotting and the turns were just turning and the chemistry was just chemistiring! The characters were giving pain and longing and heart and a touch of criminal minds, which I am sooo here for it! As per uzh - here are my unorganized thoughts: 1. The second Anson came on…I was like wait, is this “David Rossi”? My criminal minds girlies will understand 2. Catherine Cowles did a great job at keeping us on our toes. I did not see that ending coming. 3. I love the found family vibes. More so, cause it is an unconventional family (foster care and adding family members along the way). A beautiful and slightly romanticized truth of the foster system. 4. And I especially liked Rhos view on life, after all she had to endure. She never became bitter or resentful. But instead loves life to the fullest and is grateful for the opportunities she has. It is a beautiful reminder to all of us, that life has ups and downs but we determine how we react and let it shape our future.
It was cute, but honestly? By 60%, I didn’t care about the romance anymore. I just needed to know how the mystery ended. Also I just didn’t buy their love story. Two dinners and suddenly they’re head over heels? That’s just not enough for me. Still the mystery had me at least bot DNF. I skimmed to get to the resolution and then I jumped straight to the epilogue.
