Beschreibung

Dragon Shifters. Undead. Revenge.

Life has not been the same since the attack on the ship. Affected by the Druid's power, something dark lurks within Hadrian Vulmar, threatening the existence of those around him.
Following a lead, Zacriah and Nyah head into the forest on an expedition to cure him. When they are ambushed by the living dead--bodies controlled by shadow--covered in the Druid marks, they know the Druid did not perish in the sea as they first thought. The Druid is back, and with his return comes the threat of attack.

The three known Dragori are sent on a dangerous quest to stop this dark magick before Hadrian gives into his new power, and the shadowbeings end more innocent lives.

I liked the main story and the writing style- most of the time. But all the typos lack of character building and messy plott did make it hard. It was both an advantage and a disadvantage to have English as a second language. I flew over many mistakes but also noticed a lot. It just feeled like there is a lack of care for the story/book and I think it was a shame. The good thing really was the writing. At times it was a little too flowery for me but it was mostly pretty nice. The world is also interesting. The next problem was the pacing of the story. We were just rushing from one event to the next without really getting to know the characters and their relationships at all. So many things happened where I thought- really? You must be kidding! There was just no time to learn to care for characters so much so that when things progressed and people got hurt or more I just did not care at all. I really liked the first book. It read like a first book from a young author. You could see the effort, that they tried. The second read like a book that had potential but the publisher didn't want to put much effort in it bc someone would buy it either way. This book is in dire need of a good editor and a few beta readers. I'm curious what book 3 will be like...
