I read it to find out what the movie was going to be about and I still have no clue. This book provides a list and explaination about magical beasts in the Harry Potter universe. Also it tells the reader the definition of beasts. In this version, there have been little notes and scribbles by Harry and Ron in it, what gave it a nice touch. It still just got tree stars because it has given nothing but a list of creatures and definition. Totally a Hogwarts school book :) Now I'm even more curious on what the movie will bring.
Just pretend Newt wrote this book... I'm a biiiit sad that there wasn't an illustration of each creature but I gotta say I learned some new ones and it's a cute little novella about the creatures with a lot of infos.

This was hard to get through.
While i can appreciate the work that was put into the expansion on the universe, i felt that the names and teams and bits an pieces that arent logically connected or easily remembered in connection to the series is more overwhelming than entertaining.

Auch dieses Schulbuch von Harry Potter lag etwas länger auf dem Sub. Und zum Quidditch gibt es viele geteilte Meinungen. Die einen fanden zum Beispiel im vierten Teil, "Harry Potter und der Feuerkelch", die Schilderungen zu ausufernd und andere wiederum (so wie ich) konnten einfach nicht genug davon bekommen. Deswegen war ich froh als dieses Buch raus kam. In diesem Buch findet man einen sehr guten Überblick über die Geschichte des Quidditch, Regeln und die bedeutenden Mannschaften dieses Sports. Aber nicht nur das, es werden auch viele Fragen beantwortet. Den man hat sich ja bestimmt des öfteren schon gefragt woher der Schnatz stammt oder welche Bedeutungen die Trikots des jeweiligen Teams haben. Es ist ein sehr informatives Buch und ich konnte es kaum aus der Hand legen, ich muss es jetzt natürlich nur ungesehen an Madame Pince vorbeischleusen damit ich es behalten kann. *haha* Wie schon gesagt ist dies ein kleines Büchlein, das im Buch ein paar kleine Abbildungen im Kapitel hat. Was ich auch sehr schön fand das vorne ein Stempel der Hogwarts Bibliothek drinnen ist und weiß wer es sich vor einem ausgeliehen hat. Ansonsten kann ich nur sagen das dieses Schmuckstück in keiner Pottersammlung fehlen darf!
Ein schöner Zusatz-Band, jedoch ist es sehr theoretisch. Für wahre Fans bestimmt interessant, aber nicht für jeden etwas.Mir hat es aber gut gefallen, da ich gleich wieder in die Harry Potter Welt katapultiert wurde:-)
