Leider etwas schwächer als der Vorgänger aber dennoch kein schlechtes Buch… ist auf jeden Fall ein guter Einstieg in den Trope Enemies to lovers.

Das Buch startet mit wunderbaren Schlagabtausch zw den Protagonisten und vielen lustigen Szenen. Später werden sie mit ernsten Szenen verwoben, womit die Geschichte in die Tiefe geht und auch eine Charakterentwicklung stattfindet. Nicht zu viele, aber gut geschriebene spicy Szenen. Ich fands gut, dass die Hauptperson ziemlich selbstreflektiert wirkte und auch klar ihre Gedanke kommunizierte.

Mmc has been at the matchmaking service fmc works for for eight months now, with only failed dates, making fmc‘s life a living hell! Funny, not too many twists and turns, but rather a straightforward read for a nice relaxing afternoon! Can recommend! 4,5⭐️

This was the second book by her I read and I never thought another book could ever reach the amount of feelings I had while reading "A Deal with the bossy Devil", but Kyra Parsi proved me otherwise. This book was just as perfect, It gave me all the feels, laughing, crying, giggling, kicking my feet and going crazy by all the tension, the banter and the cuteness (Jamie and Jackson were so so cute together, I just can't). I love the characters, the story, our spoiled Toebeans Maguire, everything about it. Thank you for this experience! I'm so excited for the next book by Kyra Parsi I'll read, I'm still obsessed. I'm not gonna tell more except from: JUST READ IT!
