I am so, so sorry, but I didn't like this book. At ALL! Whether it was the characters, the setting, the story ... it just was not my cup of tea. I know that this book is considered a classic and a must read and that many people adore it, however, it wasn't for me.
Delicious and frightening. Both impossible and too close to home. Feels like a coming-of-age tale, though the protagonist is technically too old. Beautiful.
