Das Setting ist mal was anderes, aber alle romantischen Beziehungen fühlen sich super oberflächlich an und die Plottwists sind auch sehr offensichtlich
On the first 200 or so pages I was pretty sure this was going to be a 2🌟 read, but the end really improved my whole experience with the book as it connected some previously mentioned plot points with the conclusion.
The ending was also super twisty and not as predictable as the rest of the book. I loved the queer representation and how wonderfully accepting this whole world was towards LGBTQ people. 𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙄 𝙙𝙞𝙙𝙣'𝙩 𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙚: The writing is definitely not for me. it was supper hard to follow and some parts were full of useless descriptions and it felt like the author was just trying to add more words to the story while other parts felt like I was reading a book written by a 3rd grader. The enemies-to-lovers also didn't feel realistic at all. I really thought it was well done, because they were really true enemies that hated eachother but they ended up jumping from enemies to lovers within like a day. I would've appreciated if they had like a little more of a transitioning period where they slowly realise they had feelings for eachother. 𝙏𝙧𝙤𝙥𝙚𝙨 ☕ just one bed; "who did this to you?"; enemies to lovers 𝙎𝙥𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙡𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙡 2/5 🌶️
What a wonderful book. So many emotions, such fantastic worldbuilding. It is truely magical and as cozy as it is tense and thrilling. While I am not the biggest fan of "enemys die to racism to lovers", I gotta say this book makes it so very easy to unverstanden why the hate is so deep. There is much more to it than different race. I gotta say: most of the plottwists I smelled from miles away and I thought about giving it less than five stars for it, but it felt wrong. It still surprised me where it needed to and it didn't lessen my enjoyment of it at all! GO READ THIS BOOK!
