Enchantra: A spicy fantasy romance (Second Sky, 1)

Tolle Fortsetzung!

Vivis Geschichte ist so herzerreisend und gleichzeitig so brutal. Das Buch vereint Spice, Plot, Twists und Spannung so gut. Nachdem bereits der erste Teil der Reihe originell und spannend war, hatte ich mich umsomehr auf den zweiten Teil gefreut. Wieder eine Reise in die Untwrwelt mit all Ihren Kreaturen und Teufeln. Der Spice kommt nicht zu kurz, dominiert aber auch nicht und das Hauptaugenmerk ist tatsächlich auf der Handlung. Wer außerdem noch nach einem neuen Bookboyfriend sucht, findet hier möglicherweise einen neuen.

I‘m so glad this held up to my expectations! I loved Phantasma, so I was really excited for this and it was GREAT! I felt the beginning was rather slow but once the action started I couldn’t put it down. Sure the story is similar to Phantasma, as it’s again deadly games, but it didn’t feel repetitive of the first book. It was entertaining and addictive. I loved how the relationships between the character all developed throughout the book. It’s not much on the world building front, so it’s a nice easy, spicy read and I enjoyed it A LOT. Ran through it in two days and would recommend everyone that liked Caraval but wanted a little more spice and brutality in those games!

solid book and not as spicy as it claims to be.

i want to mention i am not a fan of spice so i was glad this didnt turn out exceptionally spicy. there are definitely some spicy topics as well as few spicy scenes but i would kinda compare it to iron flames spice level, if not less. the pacing was solid but the arc rather flat which didn't really bother me though. it was easy to read, no dragging, not boring but also not overwhelmingly exciting, hence one star down. i liked the romance and the relationship development as well as character development. i also really like the world. if you want to read phantasma, i recommend to read that first as enchantra does talk about it quite a lot (i didn't read it because the plot didn't speak to me). i didn't expect the ending which i liked, although the final climax was rather short and "underwhelming", however i did shed a tear or two after that and was fevering towards the end. can recommend!

Phantasma ist mein absolutes Lieblingsbuch. Daher war ich sooo gespannt auf dieses Buch. Ich wollte es wirklich so sehr lieben. Aber ganz ehrlich? Es war recht langweilig. Es ist „ a spicy fantasy romance“. Bin ich blind? Wo ist der spice? Das Spiel „The Hunt“ ist eigentlich jede Runde verstecken spielen und in einem Raum chillen. Die Games in Phantasma waren so spannend. Ab der Hälfte war es nur noch lesen um das Buch endlich zu beenden und zu hoffen, dass noch was spannendes passiert. Meiner Meinung nach passen die Charaktere auch überhaupt nicht zusammen. Genevieve hat mich teilweise auch extrem genervt.

An sich ganz gut

Also der erste Teil hat mich deutlich mehr gefesselt, beim zweiten Teil war es eine lange Zeit sehr langweilig. Der Showdown war genau 10 Seiten lang und dann war alles wieder gut. Trotzdem mochte ich das Dark Setting sehr.
