What an fun read :) Emma is such an interesting and complex character. She could be frustrating to some because of the way she intereacts with and thinks about the other characters, she behaves manipulative regarding Harriett, but damn she always means well, or at least is convinced of that herself. There are so many things to like but also to dislike about her and that makes the book very very compelling to read. The plot is well crafted. A lot of, even unexpected, things happen in the small group of Emmas acquaintances and friends. Even if I found our protagonist to be questionable I still ended up siding with and routing for her on most events. But is it just me or was the ending a little rushed? Suddenly everyone is married and I'm not quite sure if I am supposed to be happy about that or not. If you would have asked me somewhere at the beginning of the book that would have been the ending I would have wished for, but it happening after everything and so fast is kind of weird. Still a great book, though. If you like that kind of "who's going to marry whom?"-stories you will find everyting you wish for. I can't guarantee you will like or care for Emma but I think she is fascinating especially because there can be so different opinions about her.
