Das Buch hat mir alles in allem sehr gut gefallen, ich mochte wie die HCs miteinander umgingen, sich unterstützt haben und zusammen gewachsen sind und auch kommuniziert haben udn Verstänis füreinander gezeigt haben. Ganz toll fand ich dass Finley zum einen so sanft und alles war aber auch, dass sie wusste was sie wollte und keine kindischen Trotzreaktionen gezeigt hatte wenn man sie beschützen wollte. Sehr erfrischend. Auch cool war was sie war und all die Zusammenhänge. Das einzige was mich gestört hat war, dass oft noch mal zusammengefasst wurde wenn gerade was wichtiges gesagt/getan wurde, das war sehr redundant und etwas nervig.
Als posted on goodreads I really really liked this book. Yes, the romance is corny, but I actually liked that it was a soulmate kinda story where the goal in the end wasn’t that they get together, but to bring justice. That they did this together (mostly lol). For me it was refreshing that it wasn’t a slow burn and waiting until the last 10 pages, that they finally get together. I do like it when (soul)mates work out from the beginning, though I understand why for some this might be boring. Some things felt rushed, like Finley and her powers and I agree with those who say, Corvan has like 3 personalities. But then again, so do I, depending on who I am with lol. Overall I liked the book, it worked well for me as a stand-alone romantasy book. I did get confused by all the different names for nations and stuff, but maybe that’s a me problem. I would love to read more from this world though. I think, it could make a nice world and bring many stories. If they are and i just don’t know, lmk :) Overall I liked the book, maybe because of it flaws, corniness and picture perfect relationship.

Die erste Hälfte des Buches hat mich sehr fasziniert und mitgenommen. Der Einstieg viel mir leicht und die Protagonisten sind auch super. Aber irgendwie hat mir aber der zweiten Hälfte das Tempo und die Intensität gefehlt. Für mich plätscherte es nur noch dahin und das „Große Ende“ kam mir dann doch eher mittelmäßig vor. Das Buch ist nicht schlecht, aber es fehlt auch nichts, wenn man es nicht gelesen hat.
