This was the first "real" book (not childrens book) I ever read, when I was about 10 years old. It instantly became my favourite and has remained one of my most loved books until this date. I have read it several times by now. Of course, my review might be different, if I would have read it first as an adult, but I always thought that the story was compelling, the characters real/approachable and the writing effortless.
Habe das Buch als Kind schonmal gelesen und nun die Erinnerung wieder aufgefrischt. Gefällt mir immer noch gut. Eine Geschichte über die Freundschaft, was man erreichen kann, wenn man an sich glaubt und den Kampf von Gut gegen Böse. Heute als Erwachsener fehlt mir ein bisschen die Spannung. Aber immer noch ein schönes Buch.
