Beschreibung

This dissertation covers aspects of designing and evaluating an ultra-reliable, low-latency wireless network protocol. Extending a well-known medium access control protocol, adding recently proposed techniques such as cooperation enables a reliable transmission at low-latencies over the highly dynamic wireless medium. The advantages of the additional techniques are evaluated using an analytical, practical, as well as model-based approach. Especially the model-based tools ease efforts in certification as worst-case scenarios are considered instead of average values of a metric of interest.
