In a sense it was what I expected, in another it wasn’t (definitely more skin than I thought there would be). Caleb’s story is without a doubt darker than other’s of the Mighty Nein. This book definitely shed a little light into what he endured before Campaign 2. It’s a short story that I can’t say anything bad about.
A bit too fastpaced for my taste, but still very gripping!
