I love the Interstellar brides program series by Grace Goodwin. Both the main series and the colony series. The interplay between these two was like always really great. Although each volume can be read independently, it is still worth following the order, as there is an overarching storyline. The covers look very similar and this makes it clear to see that it is a series. „Claimed by Cyborgs“ is the ninth part of the colony series and it is still exciting. The book has about 200 pages and it’s all there: tension, romance and hot spicy scenes. There is depth to the plot and we experience things that shed a whole different light on the war between the Coalition and the Hive. This part is about the two prillon warriors Thomar and Varin. Both of them have been through an incredible amount of pain and no longer believe that they will ever find a bride. I love the interaction between these two and how in tune they are with each other. The inner turmoil, the doubts and the longing of is really tangible and I just couldn’t help but fall in love with them. But that’s where Danika comes into play. She was promised the perfect mates and she does everything to get them. She is there for Thomar and Varin, she does not give up hope and leaves no stone unturned to save the two. The dynamic between these three is unbelievably great and you can feel it in every line how much these three love each other. Although there are already so many books in this series, it won’t get boring and now this turning point…. I’m going to need the next book … ASAP. Did you love the other books? Then you definitely need to this one. I highly recommend it.
