Die Geschichte setzt nahtlos dort an, wo das letzte Buch aufgehört hat. Die Handlung ist voller Überraschungen und Wendungen. Im Buch geht es um Zusammenhalt, Freundschaft und Familie.
We are each given only one life. We cannot get another one. We must live with the mistakes we have made. Oh, it was bad. I already disliked [b:Chain of Iron|17699855|Chain of Iron (The Last Hours, #2)|Cassandra Clare|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1604591461l/17699855._SY75_.jpg|25129118] but this book was even worse! I'm glad I had a gift card and didn't have to pay for it. I cannot belive Cassandra Clare wrote this long-ass trilogy about a group of characters where absolutely nothing happens. The love triangle was horrible. It didn't make any sense! Setting Cordelia up with Matthew looked bad from the start since it is obvious that she only cares about James. Why fuck with Matthew's feelings? Adding to that, I just don't feel an ounce of love between ANY of these characters. Take the TID or TDA series. The characters clearly care for one another. TLH? I never understood why Cordelia and Lucie wanted to be parabatais. They never spent time together. James and Cordelia? There's no chemistry between them. The sex scenes? Made me uncomfortable and I cringed a lot. There's also this big lack of communication. This book could have been so much shorter if the characters just TALKED to each other. Communication could have resolved so many problems. And the end left the narrative... open? I didn't really understand the pages before the epilogue. Is there more to come?? If so: please, stop, Cassie. No one cares.
