I have no words for this. Besides the fact, that it could have been much much MUCH more, the book was good. Cora has a writing style which is easy going and you can read along (I'm not a EN native). This is a fact which I cannot dislike. But the story itself, is what is concerning me since a couple if books (unfortunately - like the while fandom as well). Did I get disappointed? Yes. Is it getting better? I don't think so. So after the last shit show with Adamo (still no words for this), I was excited for the "next generation". Marcellas book was better but not more. I wanted excitement, change, boom, and so on. But no. The first book was meh and I had a lot of moment's were I thought: hold on a second... I know that from somewhere?! Unfortunately there was the focus only of the "love life" of Maddox and Marcella. Still don't know why the storyline was torn in two books. Still don't know why it is not going deeper. The feeeeeelllllssss. Where is it?
