It was okay but a little bit to fast at the end

Boar. Also nach dem ersten 150 Seiten hätte ich das Buch an die Wand klatschen können. Anfangs war’s verwirrend, weil die ersten 150 Seiten in der Vergangenheit spielen und ich das null aufm Schirm hatte. Simones Eltern sind richtige Rabeneltern. Da hab ich mich so dumm und dämlich aufgeregt. Zwischen Simone und Dante war von Anfang an eine Anziehung da. Auch gegen Ende hin wurde es nochmal spannend. Es gab ein paar Handlungen, wo hätten vermieden werden können und dann gebe es keine Probleme. An sich war das Buch echt gut. Es ist leichtes englisch.

Auch Band 4 ist mal wieder eine absolute Wucht! 🖤 Von der nicht erwünschten Jugendliebe zur Sehnsucht im erwachsenen Alter. In diesem Teil haben wir es mit der behüteten Tochter Simone und dem Bandenchef der Gallos Dante zutun🔥 Diese Geschichte hat mich mit ihrem Inhalt und dem Plot unheimlich überrascht und dadurch auch noch mehr Spaß beim Lesen gemacht📖 Und ja auch dieses Buch enthält wieder ordentlich spice 🌶️ und im Buch bildlich dargestellt Szenen🔥 Wenn ich euch mit den letzten Rezensionen noch keine Lust auf diese Reihe gemacht habe, dann muss ich euch diese Bücher nochmals ans Herz legen❤️ (Ich lese sie auf Englisch - habe allerdings gesehen, dass es die Bücher bei Amazon auch auf Deutsch gibt)

Ich kann nicht mehr! Zerstört!! Sobald kinder mit ins spiel kommen werde ich zu einem emotionalem wrack. Tadaaaa here we go! Ich bin der festen pberzeugung dass das der lieblings Band von mir ist. Dante ist mein neuer bookboyfriend. Ich kann friedlich schlafen gehen,

Kleiner Spoiler!! Das war mein erstes Buch mit second chance, und ich kann mich nicht beschweren. Es wurde zum Ende hin echt krass spannend. Ich war so gespannt auf Dante‘s Story und wurde nicht enttäuscht. Ich hab mich schon die ganzen Zeit gefragt was wohl mit Aida ist.. und siehe da sie ist schwanger und Simone zieht direkt nach. Ich finde manche Kapitel haben sich doch etwas unnötig gezogen.
Was eine romanze. Sie startet mit einer Entführung und entwickelt sich immer weiter. Doch leider sind Simones Eltern dagegen und als sie dann merkt dass sie schwanger ist will sie es Dante sagen. Aber als sie ihn trifft is er voller Blut weil er von anderen Gangstern zusammen geschlagen wurde und sie Haut mach London ab. Dort bekommt sie ihr Baby doch ihre Eltern nehmen es ihr weg und geben es ihrer Schwester. Doch dann stirbt ihre Schwester und sie bekommt ihren Sohn wieder. Dante weiß noch immer Nix davon. Doch als Simone nach Chicago zurückkehrt erzählt sie ihm alles und sie werden eine glückliche Familie (natürlich mit Komplikationen wie ein Sniper und eine Entführung)
Ich fand die story von Simone und Dante sehr spannend. Es hat mich echt gefesselt und ich fand es auch schön Dante und seine Geschwister also jüngere “kennenzulernen”.

Die Charaktere waren sehr toll und man konnte die Emotionen nachempfinden. In der Reihe war dieser Teil bis jetzt definitiv mein Lieblingsbuch.
Ich weiß nicht, wieso, aber diese Autorin schafft es immer wieder, mein Herz zum Rasen zu bringen. Ihre Bücher sind eine Perfektion und für jeden Mensch, der auf Romantik mit etwas Dunklem steht, ein Muss! 5/5 ganz klar!

Pro + – the way the meet and fall in love: their story is very sweet and innocent, different than I expected beforehand, but good different – the finale recovered a bit the parts I did not like – I genuinely like the sniper-storyline: I would lie if I said I was all-in and completely hooked by it, but it is definitely THE storyline that helps Dante and Simone to move on and find back to one another Con - – the chronological order of events (in my opinion flashbacks would be better for the story, to make it more exciting) – their naïveté: on one hand I like that their love is so innocent and sweet, on the other hand, what do Young Simone and Young Dante expect? He: That her family accepts them just like that? She: That mafia business doesn’t kill people? – Simone‘s parents: I understand 18-year-old Simone regarding her parents. But 9 years later…why are they still part of her life, huh? No understanding there. – the lapse in time: 9 years are too long, especially when I look at the reasons why they were separated – the kid: pregnancy is not my trope (I despise it, even in books I like despite of it), however that goes hand in hand with my last point of critic too This is by far my least favorite out of this series. A trope I despise (possible spoiler – read the tropes in the spoiler section if you want to know) AND a time lapse…Why?! One of those alone would have already soured my day. Then there are Simone and Dante, both so painfully naive in a way because…what do these two expect? Her being so against his gangster ways, and him thinking he can get his way with her family when it is abundantly clear, that they wouldn‘t want him in their daughter‘s life. However, it is sweet how they fall in love despite being polar opposites. I don‘t like the timeline throughout the book: I mentioned the lapse in time before. 9 years are too long. But I also think the chronological order makes these 9 years feel even longer. (I’m just sayin‘: FLASHBACKS, there is a reason those exist!) The role of Simone‘s parents in her life, even later on in the book (not just “back then“), agitates me. They rule so much of her life, and even after the time lapse they are still there. <b>––––––––––––––– SPOILER SECTION don‘t read any further if you don‘t want to read spoilers for this book! </b> The pregnancy trope. I personally don’t think it is much of a spoiler, but I know not everyone feels this way. It is one of my most-hated tropes, and in combination with the time lapse, I hate it a little bit, not gonna lie. I think it is cruel to not let Dante see his son or even know about him for 9 YEARS, just because she can‘t deal with what he does for a living and who his family is. That has nothing to do with her sister, or her parents, he has the right to know from the very start. Period. Tropes: – surprise pregnancy (hate hate hate!) – time lapse – opposites attract – second chance – mafia romance – dual PoV 2-2.5/5⭐️ 🌶️🌶️/5
