Beschreibung

One human. One immortal. Will their alliance save the kingdom, or will their forbidden love be a death sentence?

When Cassia seeks out a Hesperine, he could end her mortal life in a heartbeat. But she has no fear of his magic or his fangs. She knows the real monster is the human king, her father. If he finds out she’s bargaining with his enemy, he’ll send her to the executioner.

As a Hesperine diplomat, Lio must negotiate with mortals who hate him. Cassia is different, but politics aren't why she captivates the gentle immortal. He wants more than her blood, and if he can’t resist the temptation, he’ll provoke the war he's trying to prevent.

Slow-burn, steamy romance meets classic fantasy worldbuilding in Blood Grace. This paperback edition includes a map and glossary. Follow fated mates Cassia and Lio through their epic love story for a guaranteed series HEA.

This book was magnificent to read! As non native English reader it had its challenges in writing style, and many new words to learn (very much appreciated). But it really holds the promise of slow burn romance, set in an antique fantasy world, where values and respect are not normal for many, but are basics for others. It gave me this feeling of sitting in bed with a Kathleen E.Woodiwiss book when the romance finally unfolded

As non native English reader it had its challenges in writing style, and many new words to learn (very much appreciated). But it really holds the promise of slow burn romance, set in an antique fantasy world, where values and respect are not normal for many, but are basics for others. It gave me this feeling of sitting in bed with a Kathleen E.Woodiwiss book when the romance finally unfolded 😂 which isn't meant as criticism, it was really good. Against other reviewes I've read so far, I liked the open questions which lingered in your mind during the process, because those make the plot interesting and you want to read on to really get deep into the world and finally get those answers. But I understand that many people can't read deep stuff like that anymore in the century of shallow media consumption and attachment fear. And as always it's just not everyone's cup of tea. I for myself am really looking forward to reading volume two and I WISH it would get a German translation for my friends to read 😊
