Grumpy Zane is constantly annoyed by the mere presence of his new co-worker Noah. Much to the amusement of their fellow construction workers who challenge them to a round of gay chicken. Who's gonna chicken out first? If I would have read the premise and seen something like this I would have been the one to chicken out - but I am apparently still not reading the blurbs. Cause then it wouldn't have taken me almost a 100 pages to realise what book universe I'm in and why so many names seemed familiar... 🤦🏼♀️ The book wasn't bad, but this is now the second book in a row where a character starts out as ace, then turns demi, and then into a horny Duracell bunny - and let's not forget that the other MC starts as aro. Is this the new "forbidden love trope"?

Ich mochte das Buch sehr. Die Story von Zane (einer der Zwillinge aus dem Crimson Club), der davon ausgeht Ace zu sein, und Noah, dem Typen der aus einer hochreligiösen Gemeinschaft geflohen ist, und sich nicht wert fühlt, überhaupt geliebt zu werden…. bis beide zu einer Runde Gay-Chicken überredet werden… Aus reiner Wette wird noch eine und noch eine… Das lies sich sehr flüssig lesen und war sehr kurzweilig. Ich hatte echt Spaß dran, und das ist für mich das wichtigste. Von daher, kann ich es total empfehlen.
