Atlas: het verhaal van Pa Salt (De zeven zussen, 8)

I finally finished reading it and to be honest - I don’t really know what to think. It started well. I was intrigued and totally ready to dive into the final novel. But that passed somewhat faster than I anticipated. All in all the whole story, past and present, seemed too good to be true. Unrealistic, slow at times but towards the end also a bit rushed, maybe. Everybody that Pa Salt met along his journey seemed somewhat unrealistically self-sacrificing and holy, it physically hurt. Sure, I had some moments when I thought “What?!” but they were rare. All in all I didn’t hate it, but sadly I also didn’t quite enjoy it as much as I thought I would 🥲 3/5 ⭐️
