Oh my goodness!! I haven't come across a book that made it high up in the ratings, but Mr. Khaled has outdone himself here. It's a 4.75 stars for me. The writing was vivid and thoughtful, overlaid with feelings and imagery. Despite the conversations being few, the memories and descriptions poured out so much. The characters were well developed although one I didn't quite understand why he was developed so much. Matter of stylistic choice I guess. But well done!!
