Eine Geschichte zwischen Harry Potter und der Zauberer von Oz
A wrinkle in time ist eine wirklich schöne Geschichte mit wichtigen Botschaften für das normale Leben, ich denke gerade für die jungen Leser wirklich wichtig und toll. Aber auch als älterer Leser hab ich die Story wirklich genossen. Hab den Schuber mit weiteren Teilen, bin gespannt.
I wanted to like this so much but managed to get two thirds of the way through before I gave up. It was just...... I don't know, not for me. The only reason I gave it 2 stars instead of one was because of Mrs Whatsit, Mrs Who and Mrs Which. I thought these three characters were very good.
Another book I missed reading during my childhood, so I am glad I read it before watching the Disney movie. Overall the story a bit weird and probably more difficult to grasp as adult than as child. The plot's antagonist is a bit more a concept or rather someone who wants you tidy up your own room?
Wunderschöne Geschichte in einer sehr poetischen und detailreichen Sprache (auf englisch gelesen). Im englischsprachigen Raum offenbar ein Klassiker der Kinder-/Jugendliteratur, bin ich kürzlich zufällig darüber gestolpert und war begeistert. Und freue mich auf die 4 weiteren Bände :)
