“If I am weak for wanting you, then let me embrace that weakness and make it my strength,” he said, his gaze fixed on the west. “And if you must haunt me, then let me haunt you in return.” The Isle of Cadence is divided in East and West. Humans and Spirits. Breccans and Tamerlaines. Cadence is affected by a terrible blight threatening the land and it's inhabitants. Bane the spirit of the wind must be stopped before he upsets the balance between the human and the faerie realm any further. Jack and Adaira are seperated. Sidra is frantically searching for a cure and Torin strikes a bargain with the spirits. They each must do their part to unite and therefore save the Isle. I loved Jack who represented a softer mmc and supported Adaira in every way possible. Adairas fierce nature really showed in this book as she found her role in a new place. Sidras and Torins relationship really developed in this book. Sidra is so graceful and wise and she and Torin went through so many challenges and still remained hopeful and devoted to each other. The fairytale vibes and the scottish charm make this story one of my favorite comfort books.
