Wow, I loved their dynamics, the spice, and the cinnamon roll MMC!

Aly's life is stressful. She rarely takes time for herself. But when she does stress relief is her number one priority, and what better way is there than getting off? Her favorite inspiration is the faceless man, a tattooed hunk of a man posing with knifes and fake blood on the internet. Like countless others, she has been all over his comments offering herself to him, never actually expecting a masked stranger to break into her house. When he does, she's not sure how to proceed... except to gear up on home security gadgets, obviously. But is it really that bad when the man of your dreams becomes obsessed with you?

The first 50% are just Aly and Josh trying to navigate this new dynamic they're in. Between him stalking her and her trying to find out his identiy, their banter was so good I actually laughed out loud a few times. 🤣 This FMC Aly is an absolute firecracker of a woman. She finds herself in a few situations that might cause distress, but she's never the damsel waiting to be saved. I loved Aly, yes of course she gets scared, too. But she doesn't take shit from anyone. Bonus points because she's not petite. I'm convinced Tyler is the better wingman than Fred. I also enjoyed the later chapters where we meet her family. I'm not into mafia romance, but I'm actually looking forward to book two, I hope it continues with this mix of dark themes and entertaining storytelling.
