Wow!!
Ich hab bis jetzt noch kein Buch der Art gelesen und bin absolut positiv überrascht!! Die Plottwists waren so gut und unvorhersehbar, dass ich mein Buch geschockt zuschlage musste. Auf jeden Fall eine riesige Empfehlung!
The Appeal war eine schöne und erfrischende Abwechslung. es ist erstaunlich wie man die Charaktere nur anhand ihrer E-Mails kennenlernt und wie nur zwei Mails ausreichend sind, einen Charakter schon als nervig zu empfinden. die Geschichte war gut, teilweise für meinem Geschmack etwas langgezogen. Die Auflösung war mir persönlich aich unnötig verkompliziert. trotz allem bin ich neugirierg auf ein weiteres Buch und Geschichte dieser Art, aber sicherlich nicht sofort. 3.5 Sterne
So much fun! If you ever want to feel like a detective, read this book! The first 100 pages can feel a little slow and difficult to follow. There are so many characters, and we follow each only by their e-mails to each other. So we get a lot of seemingly non-important information. But every word and every phrase is important, and soon enough you'll want to go back again to reread e-mails to make sure you got every detail to solve the case. Those characters are so annoying in the best way possible. You love to hate them, which is another great aspect about the book.

Ich mag Bücher die in ungewöhnlicher Form geschrieben sind total und bin durch die E-Mails, Chats und anderen Nachrichten nur so durchgeflogen. Die letzten gut 100 Seiten konnte ich das Buch nur seehr wiederstrebend aus der Hand legen. Ich hatte viele Theorien und während gewisse richtig waren konnten mich andere komplett überraschen.

Utterly boring! Was already put off by the writing style (one has to read emails and text mesaages the whole time) but due to the good reviews I continued. Very repetitive and my biggest question is WHY?
