Welches Buch hat dich zurück in eines der Genre gebracht die du nicht mehr gelesen hast?💕 Irgendwie war mein Interesse an Dark Romance weg, zu viel Geschichten, die nicht meine Moral vertreten, Titel die mich regelrecht abgeschreckt haben, aber ich dachte nachdem ich Hooked sehr mochte, könnte es was werden. In der Story geht es um Tristan und Sara. Ich mag ihre Anziehungskraft, die Kämpfe untereinander und miteinander, den Aufbau der Story und ihre Entwicklung. Sie haben ihre eigenen Vorstellungen einer funktionierenden Gesellschaft und arbeiten, wenn es unbewusst ist, auf die selben Vorstellungen zu. Es ist super schön anzusehen, wie sich die Geschichte entwickelt. Es sind super gute Charaktere nebenbei, egal ob es die Bösewichte sind oder die Figuren, die einem wichtig sind. Der Spice ist wirklich gut geschrieben und nimmt dem Leser nicht das Interesse an der Geschichte. Ganz fette Leseempfehlung von mir und eines meiner Highlights🫶🏻

Wow wow wow

Hooked hat mir nicht ganz so gefallen, aber ich dachte, ich gebe der Serie noch eine 2. Chance und wow.... es hat sich gelohnt. Der Schreibstil ist toll und die Geschichte von Tristan und Sara wunderschön. Get yourself a man who is as obsessed with you as Tristan is with Sara!! Absolute Empfehlung wenn ihr auf forbidden romamce steht. Es ist ein slow burn aber es lohnt sich!

Tbh I’ve missed the tension. There was just sexual attraction. The spice was good, and the end made the book good, but the rest wasn’t for me. Hoping wretched will be better 🫶🏽

Scarred war für mich das erste Buch aus dem Dark Romance - Bereich. Auch wenn ich durch dieses Buch kein Fan vom Genre wurde, war es durchaus fesselnd. Da es zwischen den Perspektiven der 2 Protagonisten wechselte, kriegte der Leser einen detaillierten Einblick in die Gefühlswelt von Tristan und Sara. Mit Sara hatte die Autorin eine starke weibliche Hauptfigur erschaffen und ich war positiv davon überrascht, wie Badass sie manchmal war. Tristan hingegen war mir etwas zu flach, weil der Leser schnell den Eindruck kriegte, dass er ab einem bestimmten Zeitpunkt nur aus der Besessenheit gegenüber Sara handelte. Anfangs hatte sein Charakter sehr viel Potential, das flachte aber schließlich leider ab. Den Verlauf der Geschichte fand ich sehr spannend, zum Schluss wollte ich das Buch nicht mehr aus der Hand legen.

Hab mir zu Beginn etwas schwer getan reinzukommen aber ab ca 1/3 ging es dann. Das erste Buch hat mir etwas besser gefallen, dennoch ein sehr gut geschriebenes Buch!

OMG. I‘M CRYING SO HARD. THIS BOOK BROKE ME. I HAVE NO WORDS. THIS IS WHAT I MEAN WHEN I SAY A BOOK IS UTTER PERFECTION. A MASTERPIECE. i fell in love with Tristan instantly and head first. He is such a stunning character I’m in awe. I can’t with him. He gave me several heart attacks and also made me cry and laugh and cry-laugh and no I have no control over my emotions when it comes to him. And Sara is just as perfect too. The strong badass lead I need in a book. She is just pure perfections. And both of them together? kill me. This book was so perfect I can’t handle it. The pacing and development was IMPECCABLE and I don’t think it’s possible to do it better. The Tension. The Spice. Kill me. It’s too good. The storyline. The world building. How is there not one single thing I’m not amazed by? Even the side characters where just loveable and so perfect. Simon? God he’s the best. And Timothy. And Paul. And Marisol. And Edward. And Sheina. And don’t even get me started on the reference to Lion King. Argh it was everything one could wish for and even more. THIS IS THE BOOK I DIDNT KNOW I NEEDED IN MY LIFE. HOW DID I SURVIVE WITHOUT IT??? I really read it in one sitting. I started and didn’t stop till I reached the end. I wasn’t able to stop. I didn’t eat. I didn’t drink. I only sat there for hours and devoured this masterpiece. And it was so totally worth it. 5

wasn’t that bad but couldn’t really get into the story because of the timeline and the story itself. there was tension missing between Sara and Tristan (in my opinion) and the whole end was a little to fast & the beginning to slow. It was hard to finish even though like I said it wasn’t really a bad book but the first one was just way better!! 2,75/5 for me!🤴🏽

This was the second book of the never after series I’ve read and it was a good book. I did like the first one better though. I know that they are not connected in any way other than they’re based on Disney stories. I have to say that I could tell from the beginning of the book what was gonna happen at the end but I still liked it. It was just obvious that Tristan and Sara were gonna fall in love and rule the kingdom. The only thing that I didn’t foresee was that they made Michael’s kid king as soon he was old enough. I did like the characters quite a lot but for me personally the spicy scenes at the end didn’t really do a lot for the plot and it felt like they just put them in to make the book more appealing. I liked their love story a lot and how they couldn’t live without the other. I think I’ll read the next one in the next couple of months and I am exited to see which Disney story the author chose for the next book.

Ein sehr gutes Buch!

Der Anfang des Buches war etwas schwierig für mich, da ich nicht so gut in die Geschichte hereinkommen konnte, aber sobald dies passiert ist, konnte ich nicht mehr aufhören in dem Buch zu lesen. Die Geschichte war fesselnd und ich wollte immer wissen, was als Nächstes passiert.

So, after my reading slump from CC2 I started the Allure of the vampire king. This book was so boring that I DNF. So I switched into this one. It was a nice and quick read. Nothing more and extraordinary. I just started it and keep going. Those books are the best. The smut was good and the "plot" as well (yes, almost foreseeable). Better then the first book of the series but you can read it without order. Hey, for those who are looking for deep meaning books and plots, those series is a no-go for you. It's a no brainer. You sit down, soak up the sun and read for like 4 hours and escape the real world. Nothing more.

Scarred, Emily McIntire ~3.5/5 (includes ending spoilers) I really wanted this to be a 4 star read but can “only” give ~3.5/5. At the beginning of reading Scarred I really really liked the book and all the twists happening, especially towards the end, which did take me by surprise! But I kind of missed some peaks in terms of more detailed descriptions with scenes to really feel the excitement/thrill instead of cutting them off when something could have been happening. I was also a bit disappointed with Michael’s end… I had hoped for a more exciting ending, like maybe a fight scene of some sort instead of him walking backwards and “just” falling off the cliff’s edge. But nonetheless it was a pretty good read which I still enjoyed!

Is it okay that I knew it was a retelling of the Lion King only by the end !!! It was a bit slow at the beginning but worth the 5 ☆

Scarred assessment - IT WAS SO GOOD!

I’ve read scarred for the first time and I absolutely ADORED it!! It’s such a great book, I absolutely love the main-characters together 💘💘 Honestly, my mouth dropped sometimes, and when I mean dropped, I mean DROPPED. All in all, I don’t ever regret reading it and I recommend it for everyone who’s in for a good love story. 🫶🏻

Uh I loved this one very much.

It took me some time to appreciate this lion king "retelling". I liked it, but didn't love it. Tropes: enemies to lovers, royals

Sooo... I don't really know what to say, but I didn't enjoy reading this book. Tristan is a masochist who gets off by killing people and torturing them. And he always smokes weed. That's just unnecessary. The only good thing was the connection between Simon and Tristan, but that's all.

God did I struggle with this book, it was so damn boring. I really didn't care for the characters and the whole "palace intrigue" and betrayal just felt so predictable and old. It suffers from the same problem as the previous book with the weird time skips and progression of the chapters. I really hope the other two books are better because this wasn't it.

The end absolutely didnt made sense to me.

Der zweite Teil hat mir persönlich besser gefallen. Vielleicht liegt es auch an der Liebe zum Storyhintergrund. 🤭😄 Ich mag den Schreibstil sehr und mochte das Setting um die 1910/20 er Jahre. Mal was ganz anderes. Ich werde die Reihe aufjedenfall weiter lesen. 😊
