Sehr interessante Geschichte über eine Beziehung zwischen einem anfangs nicht mal 20-jährigen Mann und einer auf die 50 zugehenden Frau und vor allem darüber, wie wahr die eigenen Erinnerungen sind. Vom Stil her weicht Julian Barnes schon recht stark von dem ab, was ich überwiegend lese. Er hat einen eher nüchternen Schreibstil, sodass ich hier nicht so intensive Emotionen gefühlt habe. Dafür stecken aber viele kluge Gedanken in diesem Buch, die sehr zum Nachdenken anregen.
