I heard it today in the tram and I must've looked kinda dreamy^^ I mean who can judge me. It's Sherlock Holmes and Benedict Cumberbatch. What could a woman want more? Exactly, more stories... I hope he makes another Sherlock Holmes audiobook. The first story was solid. I was confused at first but then it all made sense the time Watson's friend saw Watson in the street. Although I found it kinda cruel of Holmes to confine Watson to their apartments without telling him the real reason. But oh well, that's how Sherlock works^^ The second story was not so great. The solution was kinda obvious that the owner of the gold had something to do with it. Maybe I've read too many crime novels but I found it kinda obvious that he did something to the gold. He just raised my suspicion. The third story was better again. He was really confusing at first and I had to listen to it again before I really understand what the vicar had done and how he pulled it off. He was really not in my books. I really thought some thug had broken into the church taking the money. I was blinded by his title I think. The fourth and last story was my favourite one. Not only did we learn something from a case of Sherlock's past but it was also not so obvious. I would've never guessed that the thug wanted to kill the son and not vice versa. it seemed all so clear and I thought that Sherlock for once was grasping at straws. But in the end the real culprit was found but couldn't be hanged for the crime^^ All in all I have to say that those four short stories are great to listen to on a train journey (duh^^) you on't have to concentrate too much and Benedict's voice does the rest. It relaxes and helps you shut out the world for half an hour each story.
