Huiuiuiuiiiiii…

The second book seamlessly continues the events of the first, and honestly, I couldn't put the book down. It gripped me with breathtaking suspense, heart-wrenching moments, and inspiring instances. Sarah once again reveals her unique storytelling gift, which enchanted me in the first book. Her enchanting writing style literally transports me into the world of the characters. The end of the second part promises a compelling continuation, and my anticipation knows no bounds. For those who devoured the first part with enthusiasm, I can assure you: The second part is at least as good, if not even more captivating. Sarah J. Maas impressively succeeds in uniting feelings such as happiness, sadness, joy, and pain in a deeply touching way. The unveiling of the plot was masterful! I Can't wait to read the third book!
”I won’t deny that you have suffered, Elentiya, but there are thousands more who have also suffered – and suffered more. And they do not sell themselves to the king to get what they, too, deserve. With each person you kill, I am finding fewer and fewer excuses for remaining your friend.” Shit seriously just went down! I was missing the fantasy element in Throne of Glass a bit so I hadn't dared to hope for Crown of Midnight to be THAT awesome. There was more action, more nastiness, more character development, more surprises, more complications, more badassery, more sexy, no love triangle - all of this and a well-placed, never-saw-it-coming twist. Consider me impressed. I was also really surprised by Dorian. After appearing more like a plot tool before, a pretty obstacle to the relationship between Celena and Chaol, in this book he emerged as an interesting character with his own secrets. He makes sacrifices for the people he loves and his importance for the bigger story arc becomes apparent. Now quickly on to Heir of Fire.
Overwhelming
I am speechless. I was certainly not expecting to end this book in such a shock and surprise! I already suspected something about Cealena but was shocked to find out so much more in the last quarter of the book. I am amazed by Maas' writing style and her ability to make such grandiose books. The next book is in my hands already. A very big recommendation from me to start the Throne of Glass series.
Super Fortsetzung!

Oh my god I love Celaena! It‘s as good as the First one
Sarah J. Maas is just a Genius But she doesn't give a shit about our feelings Unfortunately, the ending wasn't as surprising as I would have liked it to be, because my big sister unintentionally spoiled it for me ... Thanks for that. ! Spoiler ! I found the first half of the book really exciting to read until Celaena and Chaol started dating which kind of fucked me up Then Chaol was kidnapped and Celaena made a badass appearance which I really loved … then NEHEMIA DIED and Celaena had almost killed Chaol, if Dorian hadn't stopped her with his MAGIC (I am a bit scared that his farther is going to find out about it) After that chapter I sat in my bed for 20 minutes and had to come to terms with everything I mean how can she be dead she can't be dead, that's not possible after Celaena she was my favourite character. I loved her so much! From that moment on I kind of didn't care about Chaol either I didn't wish for her to kill him but I don't think I would have ever talked to him again and I would have hated him from the bottom of my soul I mean I did until he saved Fleetfoot I still don't want them to get back together, I thought it was understandable with Dorian and her. I was okay with that too, although I prefer their friendship. But I didn't like her and Chaol as a couple at all. I hope Dorian can manage without Celaena and Chaol. I mean, now that Nehemia is dead, he's my second favourite character and I don't want anything to happen to him By the way, 4 stars because Sarah J. Maas came up with the glorious idea of getting rid of ✨Nehemia✨.

my god archer is annoying. some parts of this book were sadly spoiled to me by social media. but that’s my own fault. sadly the ending wasn’t as shocking as i imagine it to be if you survive spoiler free. good book tho, decent pace too
