It’s about 17 year old Jessica, who wins a spot on a live-streamed reality show that follows her around and documents her every movement each Monday. Jessica's goal: to flush out the Magpie Man, the serial killler who murdered her mom 10 years ago.

Hmmm… I don’t have much to say about this book. Btw there are spoilers in this review ‼️. To put it shortly; in my opinion it was mid. Not rlly good but not bad. I didn’t reallyyy like the main character cause she kinda made everything about her😭. I liked Emily (her friend) cause she was pretty cute and I loved Jamie (the boy/neighbor some houses down) he was sooo loyal and just generally a cutie. The writing style was pretty good and it was also easy to read. The chapters we’re rlly short but when you read, you had a feeling you read faster. I liked the mystery and the reveal at the end. The scene I liked was the cemetery Scene where the killer brought Jamie and Jess to her mothers grave. The dad saved her 💪. Also happy that he got caught. Im going to be honest, the reveal could have gotten a bigger shock response from me if it had been a different character. Turns out the magpie man was Bernie’s Stepfather (Bernie was Jess's childhood friend). I understand why it turned out to be him but yeahhh. Don’t get me wrong, I was still surprised but I definitely expected smth else.
